The production process of grain dryer mainly includes the following steps:
Power on and fan test run: First, turn on the power and start the fan, observe the direction of rotation, and correct it immediately if there is a reversal.
Loading: Pour the grain between the grain rack and the stacking rack until it is full. For example, about 950 kg of wet grain can be loaded.
Combustion: Put flammable materials such as straw and shavings into the furnace and ignite them, then add firewood and coal. After the firewood is burned, add anthracite, cover the temperature control cover, close the temperature control plate, start the motor to rotate the fan impeller, and the furnace will be fully burned after a few minutes.
Temperature control: Control the temperature by the opening angle of the temperature control plate. The temperature control plate should be horizontal when working stably. If the temperature is too low, the required temperature can be achieved by adjusting the distance between the furnace and the fan.
Grain turning: To make the grain dry evenly, turn it every half an hour at the beginning, and turn it every 20-25 minutes when the drying is about to end. When turning, insert a shovel from the gap at the bottom of the grain rack, take out the grain and stack it on the stacking rack. Generally, a batch of grain can achieve a good drying effect by turning it 6-7 times.
Discharging: According to experience and drying time, the grain can be discharged when it is estimated that it has been dried. Remove the slag 2-3 minutes before discharging, and add a large amount of coal blocks so that the furnace will not go out when loading and unloading grains.
Staffing: Each unit should be equipped with 2-3 people to manage the coal furnace and turn the grain. The operator should not leave the dryer, and shut down immediately if a fault occurs. Before starting the fan each time, check whether there are debris around the motor and fan impeller, and pay attention to fire prevention.
