Heat pumps have a lot of mechanics. Some use the power of chemical compounds in order to create artificial heat. Other utilize electricity in order to create either a cooling or a heating effect. Also called geothermal pumps, they are able to syphon the heat coming from the earth and then manipulating it in order to control the temperature of a certain area. Unlike the air pump that consumes air from the environment, the geothermal pump have the ability to control heat and cold while at the same time to control the temperature of water. Geothermal ones are also safe to use because such machines do not use various chemicals that can be dangerous to the lungs. Unlike refrigerators, geothermal pumps are environmentally friendly and cost effective.
